With all the features it offers at that price, the MG has no competition. A BMW X1 of similar dimensions with a few extra upgrades costs more than twice as much, and considering that 40% of MG’s spare parts come from Germany (Bosch, Continental, etc.), I’d go for the MG ZS Hybrid without a second thought.

The Skoda Elroq is a sensible, comfort‑focused compact electric SUV that puts a premium on a roomy rear seat, quiet long‑distance manners and straightforward, low‑distraction controls — perfect for families and commuters who value everyday usability. We’ve been driving the Elroq 85 Sportline for four weeks. Nice SUV — functional and not overdone. Downside for me: software issues. Infotainment crashed once so far, and the traffic-sign recognition isn’t updating (often shows outdated roadworks).
