Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

MG HS is clearly cheaper – starting at 30,000 £ , while the Skoda Kodiaq costs 37,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 7,886 £.

The Skoda Kodiac looks sleeker and is bigger. The Ford Explorer is a bit smaller and there was such a fuss made about it, but it’s disappointing in looks and even worse on the inside.
