When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

Tesla Model Y is substantially cheaper – starting at 34,300 £ , while the Audi Q7 costs 70,600 £ . That’s a price difference of around 36,351 £.

As for electric range, the Tesla Model Y offers substantially more range – reaching up to 622 km, about 540 km more than the Audi Q7.

Engine and Performance:

Power, torque and acceleration are the classic benchmarks for car enthusiasts – and here, some clear differences start to show.

Constant faults with the touch door opening, the trunk, sign-reading and the front obstacle sensors. The service repaired it under warranty five times — they replaced wiring harnesses, a sensor, uploaded software — and then gave up. They told me they don’t know what else to do. That’s the customer care at a German premium brand. A car worth over 400,000 and they tell the customer they don’t know what to do. I paid the final installment and I’m giving the car back to them. I’m taking a Chinese BYD Seal U DM-i plug-in hybrid with better equipment for 165k after a discount from 225k. With that attitude to customers and those high prices, the Germans will have fewer and fewer people interested in their cars — but they’ve only got themselves to blame!!!
