Price and efficiency are key factors when choosing a car – and this is often where the real differences emerge.

VW ID.3 is visibly cheaper – starting at 29,100 £ , while the Kia EV5 costs 39,400 £ . That’s a price difference of around 10,282 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the VW ID.3 is visibly more efficient: consuming 13.9 kWh/100km compared to 16.9 kWh/100km for the Kia EV5. That’s a difference of about 3 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the VW ID.3 offers slightly more range – reaching up to 629 km, about 99 km more than the Kia EV5.
