When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

smart #3 is markedly cheaper – starting at 34,700 £ , while the BMW iX1 costs 42,300 £ . That’s a price difference of around 7,637 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the BMW iX1 is a bit more efficient: consuming 14.3 kWh/100km compared to 16.3 kWh/100km for the smart #3. That’s a difference of about 2 kWh/100km.
