When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

Mercedes A Class is very slightly cheaper – starting at 32,600 £ , while the Tesla Model Y costs 34,300 £ . That’s a price difference of around 1,709 £.

As for electric range, the Tesla Model Y offers substantially more range – reaching up to 622 km, about 537 km more than the Mercedes A Class.
