Costs and Efficiency:

When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

MG MG4 is clearly cheaper – starting at 36,800 £ , while the Volvo EX40 costs 45,200 £ . That’s a price difference of around 8,400 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the MG MG4 is very slightly more efficient: consuming 16.1 kWh/100km compared to 16.6 kWh/100km for the Volvo EX40. That’s a difference of about 0.5 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Volvo EX40 offers barely more range – reaching up to 576 km, about 31 km more than the MG MG4.

The MG4 seems more versatile to me than the Dolphin, which relies mainly on design. The MG4 has proven itself and remains an excellent used option with low mileage.
