Costs and Efficiency:

When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

Tesla Model 3 is marginally cheaper – starting at 31,700 £ , while the Tesla Model Y costs 34,300 £ . That’s a price difference of around 2,572 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Tesla Model 3 is very slightly more efficient: consuming 13 kWh/100km compared to 13.1 kWh/100km for the Tesla Model Y. That’s a difference of about 0.1 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Tesla Model 3 offers slightly more range – reaching up to 750 km, about 128 km more than the Tesla Model Y.
