Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

VW T-Roc has a clearly advantage in terms of price – it starts at 26400 £, while the BMW X2 costs 41200 £. That’s a price difference of around 14790 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: BMW X2 manages with 4.50 L and is therefore clearly perceptible more efficient than the VW T-Roc with 5.50 L. The difference is about 1 L per 100 km.

In curb weight, VW T-Roc is to a small extent lighter – 1465 kg compared to 1645 kg. The difference is around 180 kg.

In terms of boot space, the BMW X2 offers to a small extent more room – 560 L compared to 475 L. That’s a difference of about 85 L.

In maximum load capacity, the BMW X2 performs slight better – up to 1470 L, which is about 120 L more than the VW T-Roc.
